…and 10 million of them use sauna on a regular basis!
We’re all in debt to the Finns for introducing the world to nordic sauna, but Germany is the only country in the world where public/community saunas are on the rise. I want to bring some of that awesomeness back to 612 by attending the Deutscher Sauna-Bund e.V. sauna meister program in April to learn the latest in sauna maintenance, hospitality and management practices.
One of the challenges of making this happen, the training is (of course) in German! Alas, my buddy Nicholas P. to the rescue! He’s putting me on the fast-track by stopping by my sauna once a week for a sauna-fied German lesson! As you can see, I’ve pretty much fluent already ; )
